Among the innovations that Young Osman was planning to do in many areas was to make changes in the clothes and to make the wearing of more plain clothes instead of the old flashy shades and caftans. It is known that due to the death of the previous sultan who was announced just before the ceremonies of the Ottoman sultans, he showed his sorrow by dressing in mourning clothes at his predecessors' funeral. It is known that while wearing ceremonial ceremonies such as the ceremonies of sovereignty, they prefer more plain clothes to emphasize their personal presence and religious seriousness; The Ottoman Empire, which is a symbol of power and status, is a masterpiece with its fabric and ornaments despite its simple form. The Kaftans are an open front garment with long lengths and long or short sleeves. In the study; Topkapi Palace Museum in the II. Osman's caftans were examined and modernized jacket designs were inspired by the caftans' cutting, pattern, fabric and adornment features.
