The concept of space and color in painting is used as a means of expression with elements such as light-shadow, form, line, stain, texture and rhythm, which include the basic elements of painting. The concept of space and color is important in the use and perception of the elements in the paintings. From the past to the present, the concept of space and color has been handled in different ways, including innovations. In this direction, the main purpose of the research is to examine the concept of space and color in the works of painting artists. The research is limited to the works of painting artists related to the subject. Qualitative research method was used in the research. Research data, printed publications depending on the research model; national and international literary and visual sources containing the subject were obtained by examining the works related to the subject. In the research, the literature about painting artists was examined in detail. Along with the literature review, the research samples made in this field were also examined and the analyzes related to the works of the painting artists were made in line with the works of the artists. In the research, first of all, information about the concepts of space and color was given, and then the works related to the subject were examined. In the research, it has been tried to be analyzed by evaluating how painting artists reflect the periodical stylistic differences to the concept of space and color in their works, and a conclusion section has been formed depending on this analysis. It is thought that this research will contribute to the students who receive art and art education to learn the concept of space and color with the example works of painting artists. It will guide students in the field of painting to examine, analyze, interpret and evaluate a work in terms of the concept of space and color.
