Nevruz is a holiday with traditional rituals celebrated in a wide geography such as Central Asia, the Middle East, the Caucasus and the Balkans. One of the most important elements in these rituals is the painted Nevruz egg. The essence of activities carried out with Nevruz eggs is abundance, peace, happiness, rebirth and continuity of life, and a sense of social solidarity. With the study conducted; Within the scope of the experimental art workshop, the process of obtaining traditional motifs on eggs boiled in water using natural plants, in the integrity of tradition, was emphasized, based on colored eggs, which are one of the most important activity tools of the Nevruz holiday. The results are presented as a means of artistic expression. In this context, motifs used in Turkish society were selected and eggs were prepared with the traditional firing technique. 14 motif studies were attempted on eggs, and 10 successful motif examples were included in the study.
