About the Journal

Kalemişi Journal of Turkic Arts is a double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal that has published original research on the arts of the Turkic peoples in Turkish and English since 2013. The journal gives priority to work that is methodologically transparent, fully referenced and illustrated, and ethically sound, and aims to make it available to everyone, free of charge and permanently. The journal is owned and published by Sanat ve Dil Araştırmaları Enstitüsü (Institute of Art and Language Studies); publishing services are provided by Artsürem Yayıncılık. Neither the publisher nor the service provider interferes with editorial decisions, which are made by the editors solely on scholarly grounds. The journal does not carry advertising.
